About me:  I have been teaching for 23 years. This will be my sixth year teaching 2nd grade at Norman Smith. I have taught almost every grade in elementary school, except kindergarten and fifth grade!  I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees  from Brenau University, and also have a Specialist degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Piedmont University. My husband and I live on a farm with three dogs and over 50 chickens! In my spare time I enjoy reading, crafting, gardening, and learning new things. Even though I love to read, math is my favorite subject!   I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!  We are going to have a wonderful year!!
