I received my B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Tennessee Technological University in 1995. I earned my M.A. in 1999 and went on to earn my Ed.S in 2000 both in Counseling Education and Counseling Research from TTU. Upon graduating I held an itinerant school counselor position with Woodlawn and Glenellen Elementary (CMCSS). From 2001-2018, I was giving the opportunity to practice and sharpen my skills as the school counselor for Sherwood Elementary School (Shelby County School District) in Memphis, TN. While at SES, I built lifelong relations with students, parents, and staff members as well as the school community. As of August of 2018, I continue to grow as a school counselor and be a liaison between the students and the Clarksville community. I am happy to share in the creating of productive, caring, and hard working students here at Smith. Thank you for entrusting your children in our care. I can be reached at the contact information listed.
