Fáilte - You are all very welcome here! My name is Cody Richardson, Smith's Music Teacher. This will be my 10th year here, and I am excited to see everyone back at school.
Education: B.S & Masters in Music Education, APSU; Master of Arts Ethnomusicology, University of Limerick (Ireland)
In addition to music classes, I have previously taught private horn lessons and worked at local band camps (NWHS, NEHS, Wilson Central High School in Lebanon, TN)
Exciting news! – This summer I completed my training in Orff Schulwerk (a REALLY AWESOME approach to teaching music to everyone!) I graduated this July, and am excited to share all the learning with our students as an official Orff Certified Teacher.
Hobbies: reading, trail hikes, crochet, and crafting in general. Spending time with my husband Billy, cats Darby, Clover and Joker, and dog Tully Girl.
